Roma & Vineeth in Chappakurisu

Another truly unique film is in the making in Malayalam cinema. This time the casting is also special.

Roma who had made a notable comeback with the year's first hit 'Traffic' will don the lead in the new movie directed by cinematographer Sameer Thahir, titled as 'Chappakurisu'. Nivedhitha of 'Veruthe oru bharya' and young star Ramya Nambheeshan will be the other heroines of the movie which will have Vineeth Sreenivasan and Fahad fazil as the heroes.

The movie which is based on the untold stories of Kochi will follow two negative characters. 'Based on a thousand real stories- is the tagline of the movie, which will experiment with a totally different narratives. Unni R is the screen writer of the movie produced by Listle Stephen

Roma with Mammotty in Bombay March 12

For the first time in her career Roma will act with Malayalam superstar Mammotty. Both will be seen in famous script writer Babu Janardhanan's maiden directorial venture "Bombay March 12"

Its a multilingual and will be released in Malayalam,Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Bombay March 12 will begin shooting on March 4. The movie would be initially started in Alappuzha, Kerala.

The film is based on the Mumbai riots. It depicts the suffering and problems faced by the common man after the Mumbai blast that occurred in 1993.

The rest of the star cast would include Manianpilla Raju, Jagathy Sreekumar, Jyothi, and Unni.

The movie seems to be very promising since it is based on a true life incident. The common man would be able to connect with the incident

Roma's reentry to Mollywood with the Super hit Traffic

Roma is back in Malayalam with a super duper hit. Her cameo role in Traffic was appreciated by all. The film had Terrific response from day one and is the First Hit of 2011.

Roma played the character of a Radio station manager and she did her part well. other stars in the cast include Vineeth Sreenivasan, kunchako boban, Anoop Menon and Kadhal Sandhya. Traffic is directed by Rajesh Pillai and scripted by Bobby Sanjay

Roma was not seen in Malayalam for a long period due to her commitments in Telugu.Roma has couple of films in her kitty now. that include Mohanlal Starrer Casanova and Kadhayile Nayika

Roma in East Coast Vijayan's Mohabbath

Roma has stepped in, instead of Mamta Mohandas to do a cameo in 'Mohabbat' being directed by Eastcoast Vijayan.

Due to date problems Mamta could not continue with the film and opted out. Recently Roma took part in the shooting of a song along with singer Hariharan. The lyric was written by Vayalar Sarath and music composed by Balakrishan. Sujatha handled the choreography.

'Mohabbath' is the second movie directed by East Coast Vijayan. It is a triangle love story with Muslim background. Meera Jasmine plays the central character. Munna and Anand Michael do the two male lead roles.

Malayalam movie Uthara swayamvaram will be the Deewali release of Jayasurya. Roma appears in title role in this movie. Utharaswayamvaram is directed by Debutant Ramakanth Sarju.
